Does vCAC support integration with vCOPS ?

Hello Folks,

Does vCAC support integration with vCOPS (vCenter Operations Enterprise) product?

We are interested in learning if vCAC can provide capacity aware placement advice based on real time utilization metrics within the targeted infrastructure.

Or does it need VMware Capacity IQ (part of vCOPS) or anything other product to achieve this? Or does vCAC support this by itself?

vCAC has some capacity aware placement capabilities.  They can be enhamced by intergating with vCops, however it vCops is not intergated out of the box today.  vCAC by iteself can make decision based on the configuration of it's blueprintsand reservation combined with available capacity that is collected form the element manager...i.e. vCenter.  If you can provide more details on specifically what you are looking for I can tell you if vCAC does it or how it oculd acheive it through integration.
