We have a Hybrid Cloud Solution EHC 2.5 sold to one of our customers in Africa…
However, when going with sales people, it appeared to be a public cloud deployment, and not really an EHC…
I mean customer wants to provide public cloud services through this solution… And sales guy said, yes we will use the reference architecture of EHC 2.5, however for public end users, and not as a private cloud.
Have you seen a similar solution before ? (Utilizing EHC for public cloud providers)
And is VCAC enough to deploy a public cloud ? or we need to add vcloud director ?
I am still yet trying to understand how public users are going to access the system, and how will the VCNS configured to serve this goal…
The question is:
Is VCAC alone (built according to EHC 2.5 reference architecture) capable to provide IT-as-a-service for public users ?
Use cases are simple machines, with no applications on it.
Your guidance, and any simple hint will be much appreciated.
