Deploy vRA 7.2 on AWS

Hi All,

Recently I tried to deploy vRA 7.2 appliance onto AWS using the import/export function from AWS.

I'm getting an error from AWS complaint the kernel is not a supported one :

"StatusMessage": "ClientError: Unsupported kernel version 3.0.101-0.47.90-default"

Looking at the AWS websites, the supported Linux are the below ones.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1 –6.5

Centos 5.1 –6.5

Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.04, 13.10

Debian 6.0.0 –6.0.8, 7.0.0 –7.2.0

Has anyone successfully deployed vRA appliance onto AWS or Azure  or any suggestion ?

hi, vra 7.2 appliance is based on SUSE 11.

If SUSE is not supported in AWS then I doubt you can deploy VRA in AWS.
