Can we create new Notification Scenarios in vRealize Automation 7.4 for periodic lease expiry reminders

Can we create new Notification Scenarios in vRealize Automation 7.4 a part from existing scenarios.

The problem statement here is by default when lease of the server is about to expire there is only 1 email notification sent to owner by vRA (by default it is 7 days before the lease expire and we can configure the same to any number of days) and the chances are very high that the owner will miss it by mistake which will lead to deletion of production servers.

As a part of requirement we need to send the periodic email notification starting from 10 days before the lease expiry date with the interval of 1 day (same as it happens in any password management tool - we use to get periodic reminders).

if there is any other solution a part from Custom Notification using vRealize workflows please suggest.

IIRC those are handled on the vRA Appliance as Velocity templates with a template pack for each scenario... This was in 7.0 (or maybe even 6.x.....?). Vmware did at one point have a cusomtization pack for those templates but it involved editing Velocity (Java based markdown style text) and having the right pack in the right place.

At the moment if I need a custom email I do it as part of an XaaS or using an EBS workflow.

There is no way to do this, you'll need to use workflows. We had the same requirement but its been in our backlog forever and we never ended up implementing it.
