vMotion compatibility x7450 vs x7550

Hello,

Could you anyone confirm or displace by evidence that is possible set vMotion between Xeon x7450 (6-core Nehalem) and new x75x0 (6 or 8-core). I have found this KB:

There is written that group c (Xeon 74xx) is compatible with group d (Xeon 75xx)

Yes it is possible by turning on enhanced vmotion compatibility (EVC). You will need to turn create a cluster of Intel® Xeon® 45nm Core™2 EVC Mode. For more info please refer to this KB http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003212
