Hi Dued's
I have two datacenter each datacenter having one vSphere logical cluster added with 10 ESX host. Can anybody help me how to do VM vMotion between vSphere cluster and datacenter or the vMotion only possible in the same cluster.
Hello,
vMotion is only allowed within the same datacenter between those hosts that share the same storage devices.
Thread moved to vSphere forum.

You would be better looking at a DR solution to address your requirements.
Totally agreed!, you will need tools like Quest vRanger, Veeam Backup or Novell Platespin Protect. Such solutions provide V2V protection.

if here downtime is not a concern as you are testing it. then you can migration manually VM across Datacenter in vSphere(Not vmotion by hypervisor). All you need to power OFF the VM and then need to migrate is to another host of another Datacenter( ofcourse shared storage and networking should be taken to considertaion first).
Thanks!
