I'm trying to make some VMs stay away from a particular type of storage in my environment (VMs using Appsync can't be on Powerstore arrays). I've tagged all of my Powerstore datastores and created a Storage Profile to exclude storage with that tag. I apply the Storage Profile to a VM and try to SVMotion it. It shows the incompatible destination datastore but you can still select it. If you do select it, you will get a warning, not an error, you can still proceed with the SVMotion.
My question is, is there a way to enforce that a VM does not get moved onto incompatible storage?
