Good day,
I was wondering if there was negative impacts on having an ESX 3.5 environment with some servers that have HT enabled and some servers that are not HT capable. If there are issues with this does anyone know what they are. Will vmotion and smotion still work? Will it have an impact on DRS? etc etc...

As long as the processors are compatible for vMotion ther sould be no problucm running servers with HT enabled or not in the same cluster - but as the other user said it is best practice to have HT enabled if it is available -
does not generate major impacts here, but it is recommended that HT is enabled.
So, as soon as possible to enable HT on servers that are using this function is disabled.
But the processors that have HT disabled have less capacity to process the requests of the machines. Fails to gain speed

Go for consistency! Enable or disable it for all.
