In this video, a VMware Engineer will discuss the enhancements to VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) that are now available in VMware vSphere:
I wonder why all customers I know use the default *** (3 star) rating for DRS. I'd say, because it just works. And lowering the threshold never worked out well, because of massive VMotion activities... Will VMware ever publish more than just qualitative descriptions (conservative, medium, agressive) for the DRS-rating? Do we know a concrete use case when it really makes sense to use agressive settings?
