Impossible to mount the NFS Datastore on the Vmkernel switch

Hi ^^

I' have 2 ESX V4:

ESX03 Vmkernel IP : 198.168.0.10

ESX04 Vmkernel IP : 192.168.0.20

NFS IP : 192.168.0.7

Error in /var/log/vmkwarning on ESX04 :

WARNING : NFS : 898 : RPC error 13....

Actually the NFS is mount without error on the ESX03, i try on another Linux Server, the NFS store is mount.

Ont he ESX03 the command "vmkpind 192.168.0.7" is done, but on the ESX04the same command doesnt work, vmkping -D work fine.

Since ESX4 i can ping the NFS.

I've make the Vmkernel nic many times with different vmknic, same error.

Since the NFS i can ping the VMK0 (192.168.0.20),

cat /etc/exports :

/stockage *(rw,no_root_squash)

I 've try the command esxcfg-nas -a ISO-NFS -o 192.168.0.7 -s /stockage

=>

Unable to connect to NAS volume ISO-NFS: NFS Error: Unable to mount filesystem:

Unable to connect to NFS server

BUT the same command works fine on the ESX03.

I'm dont know where to search now, how to resolve the errror of "vmkping" ?

One another thing : i try to restart on the Nfs server the /etc/init.d/portmap and nfs, same error.

That is logical because another Server cant mount the Nfs.

I think he speak about the demons rpc.*, exactly ?

If yes, on the NFS Server:

mountd is running

portmap is running

statd is running

nfsd is running

First check OK

"Once my new VMkernel can be ping from my NAS box without problem, I start adding my first NFS datastore with below step :"

The NFS can ping the Vmkernel, but the vmkernel cant ping the NFS, vmkping 192.168.0.7 don't work.

For me the tuto stop at this step.

By the tuto i create all the step correctly, but vmkping 192.168.0.7 don't work.

I read the /var/log/vmkwarning

error: WARNING : NMP : nmp_DeviceRequestFastDeviceProbe ...

And Migrate don't works.

i'm looking the meaning of this, but some help will be good.
