I cannot just correct configure resource pool management

esxi3	R710	19GHZ	16GB

I've running for these 3 servers. So this 3 servers merging for create one resource pool. I had testing process yesterday but unsuccessfull result.

Testing process details

Virtual machine template1- 2 /Ubuntu 10.10 server/

Ram - 2GB

CPU - 1 vCPU

Virtual machine template2- 1 /Windows server enterprise edition R2/

Ram - 4GB

CPU - 2 vCPU

Create one resource pool name - High resource

CPU resource

    Share - 20000 MHZ

    Reservation - 0MHZ

    Expendable reservation - enable/check/

    Limit - unlimited

Memory resource

    Share - 32000 MB

    Reservation - 0MB

    Expendable reservation - enable/check/

    Limit - unlimited

When VMs full loading, reservation resource change from VM resource full to  High resource. But these not change for resource. I'll need fortunately decide this problem. Thanks

I am not sure what you are trying to acheive. Great information on DRS can be found at: http://www.yellow-bricks.com/drs-deepdive. If you are looking to combine the resources from multiple ESXi hosts for a single VM via resource pools then this is not possible. A VM can only run on a single ESXi host at any given time.

DRS is good running in my server. So i'm doing thing for created resource pool. But my servers cannot successfull in resource pool.
