Does a SVM of one disk create a snapshot of them all?

I have a server (running ESXi 4.1) with a nearly full datastore which has just one VM on it.

This VM has 2 disks, so I'm looking to use storage vMotion to move one to an external datastore - it has to stay live.

The other drive is very busy, so what I need is to ensure that the SVM will only snapshot the disk it's moving. Otherwise the snapshot deltas will fill up the disk and crash the whole thing.

Can someone confirm? Thanks.

Storage vMotion has as far as I know not been using snapshots since 3.5, so there should be no deltafiles at all when you move the vmdk disk.
