vCloud Usage Meter 3.2 vCenter support

Hello there,

I found below under vCloud usage Meter (vCUM) 3.2 user guide under system requirements. At the moment, we are running on ver 3.0 and managing 13 vCenter servers and do not see any issues.

Is this a soft limit if Yes, what would be the hard limit?

Do i spin a new vCUM?

any help is much appreciated.

Capacity Metered

vCloud Usage Meter supports metering of these capacities:

Hi. As long as your collections complete hourly and the application heap used stays below the maximum (see the Support Page to observe memory usage), then you are fine. The actual limit is a function of the total number of VMs and other inventory items, how well the vCenter Servers respond, how the network and disk perform, how much vRAM you give UM, and how many VCs you tell UM to collect from simultaneously.

Thanks Dave.

I do not see any issue with data collection from vCenter server.

But I don't get Customer Support & License Summary for new Customer i have added. I also tried to remove and add entry as new, without luck.

Has anybody experienced this before???

I have raised a call with VMware Team and waiting for reply.
