change ip Usage Meter 3.0

Hi all,

How can I change the Usage Meter 3.0 IP address/IP properties. I change the UM IP with Linux command (yast2)

Whenever I restart the UM, it always goes back to old IP.

I am using Fixed IP when deploying the OVF.

Have you tried the Network section in the admin-gui found at <ip-address>:5480 ?

Is this a new appliance?  There have been some changes on how the virtual appliances network are configured and referenced in the Installation portion of the user guide.

To configure the network

1. Log in and run the following command:

/opt/vmware/share/vami/vami_config_net

1. Follow instructions on configuring new network settings. On completion of setting up the network, interfaces will reset.

Return to the vCloud Usage Meter console and note the new web application URL address in the format http://<IP-Address>:8443/um.
