  • 1.  What to report when collection fails

    I haven't seen an answer to this question in any program guides or FAQs. What should we do if one or more of the hourly collections fail? Can the aggregator average across the other values to "fill-in" this missing collection? What if the vApp is accidentally shut down, or does not come back online after an outage? Is there some alternate method of reporting when the usage data is unavailable?

    This is being added to the VSPP Product Guide:

    In cases where the service provider cannot monitor and report on monthly RAM usage for the vCloud Service Provider Bundles, and the fault is due exclusively to the vCloud Usage Meter experiencing less than 95% uptime, the service provider will be responsible for the greater of their monthly plan commit level of points or the average points consumption over the previous two months.
