Usage Meter - Automatic Reports - Ignoring reports filter

Good afternoon.

We have a few usage meters setup and operational, however for all instances (version 3.6.1) under automatic reporting, when setting this up you can select the reports to include in the email such as:

Cluster History
Customer Monthly Usage
Horizon DaaS Tenants
Monthly Usage
Virtual Machine History

I only have monthly usage selected as this is the only one we are interested in - however the email comes through to the team with all of the reports.

This is affecting all instances. Is this a known issue?

Many thanks

This is expected if the team email address is the same under the Service Provider Information -

That email address assigned will always receive all reports on a monthly basis.

Hi,

In Automatic Email Reporting(Submit reports to self), if Monthly Usage has been selected then the following Report Types will be sent as individual file attached.

  • Monthly Usage Units
  • Virtual SAN by vCenter Server
  • Virtual Machines by Product Server
  • vCloud Director Summary
  • Product Configuration Issues

In Monthly Usage Report (UI) all these Report Types will be a different section.

Note:

  • Email address mentioned under the Service Provider Information, will get all Reports once in a month.
Thanks, Vinayaga.

Thanks - The email address for the provider tab is different from the report one. I'll wait until the 1st and see if they come though to double check.

Many thanks
