Stopped VM RAM and snapshot VM with RAM

i would like to know how RAMs of stopped VM and snapshots are calculated by VUM ?

May be misunderstanding here as VUM does not seem relevant without more context. Is VUM being used to update the VM hardware?

Snapshots of a stopped VM do not include the RAM as there is none in use.

Running VM's that include active RAM when snapshotted will include the space used by the VM.
