GetLicenses() Issue after migrating from 3.6 to 4.3

Hello,

We have just deployed the OVF 4.3 and migrated the data from our old 3.6 by following the VMware procedure.
Everything went very well.
The web interface is accessible and correctly recognized the measured Vcenter but there is an notification error : Collection error (Exception in getLicenses()) .

Has anyone ever encountered this problem ?
Where can I find logs to see more information ?

Thank you in advance for you answers

Hi,

Does anyone have any clue on this problem ?

Despite a lot of research we don't find any solutions...

Hello,

I've exactly the same problem at one of our newly deployed UM4.3 is returning:

Collection error (Exception in getLicenses())

What I've noticed the only difference is when I connect to vCenter (no problem) rather than directly to ESXi host.

What is the source in your case?

Best regards,

Robert

I too have this issue with 2x vCenter servers V6.0u1b, and I'm thinking the issue is related to the version of VUM & vCenter.

Your options would be, in preferential order:

1. Upgrade the vCenter to V6.7U3n min.
2. Upgrade VUM to V4.4

I will be upgrading my vCenters to V6.7U3n to bring them into support and see what happens.

Hello,

thanks for help and answer, yes we've already resolved this issue by installing a new VCSA and Usage Meter 4.4 from scratch.

Best regards,

Robert
