vShields, vLANs and the bigger goal

Afternoon all.

So I just spent the last 4 hours or so drinking coffee and watching the "vShield Zone APAC Partner Training" in the hope I would clear up some question I have about vShields and vLANs. I am no clearer.....

So my question is this... Can vShields handle multiple port groups each on it own vLAN in a single vSwitch?

Our environment is Multi-Tenancy so we need to keep each clients VM network traffic isolated to there own network. The bigger goal would to have the ability to pipe there public IP right down to a firewall appliance that they could configure themselfs... I would hear thoughts on this goal for anyone willing to share.....

Thanks again....

Did you ever get clarification on this?

It sounds like your use case is supported by vShield Edge (multitenancy, full L2 isolation, etc).
