Hello!
I am not aware enough in vShield and v*, but i have to backup vSphere infrastructure and one of tasks is backup of vShield Manager. But to do this job i should understand some principles. I will be very appreciated if you help me answering a few questions:
1. Where does store vShield Edge configuration on vShield or on vShield Manager or something else?
2. If i perform backup of vShield Manager using internal backup procedure, does it backup vShield configuration to?
3. If i will not backup vShield how much time can be taken to reinstall it and connect to vShields ?
I am not responsible for restore configuration of vShields, but i responsible for restore vShield Manager.
