VMware vShield Manager 4.1

1. Installed and configured vShield Manager as per instructions from the KB http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=102616...
2. Tried to login via web: https://vshield.mycompany.com (User: admin, Password: default). I get the following error message:
Login failed for user 'admin'. Please try again.
3. Powered off and on the vShield VM , reconfigured it several times but with no success. Eventually powerered this VM off to install a new instance.
4. I installed a new instance of vShield Manager (using the same configuration ..i.e IP Address, DNS, Gateway ..etc.). And it worked like a charm and I am not able to reproduce the web login error.
