"Teaming and Failover" for VXLAN portgroup

Our edge gateway internal interface is unreachable from time to time, then we notice this:

When ESXi hosts have been prepared for virtual network, it creates a special port group for VXLAN traffic (vxw-vmknicPg-dvs-xxxxxx), and in "Teaming and Failover" setting for that portgroup, it adds all of the physical NICs (uplink) on a host into it, even some of the NICs are not intended to be part of the VXLAN network (not on the VLAN for VXLAN traffic). Is it correct? should we manually remove those physical NICs from the "Active Uplinks" list of the "Teaming and Failover" for those VXLAN portgroup?

Thanks
