Hello Everyone,
I notice this question was asked a few months ago, and the answer at that time was "TrendMicro Deep Security" is the only product available that integrates with vShield Endpoint.
Just wondering if anything has changed recently ?. I have searched documentation & websites for all the well known anti-virus vendors and find no mention of other vShield Endpoint products that may be available.
I notice that a few days ago TrendMicro & VMware have announced a closer alliance... perhaps this indicates that other vendors aren't serious about vShield yet ?.

Hi,
take a look at Bitdefender SVE (www.bitdefender.com/sve), it´s a new product and it has some bugs and limitations... After performing a lot of tests, we decided againts going live with SVE.

during vmware world, there was something on symantec too ..
Many vendors have told from 2009 they have vshield-ready products "on their roadmap", but as of now, only Trend Micro has a product on the market, and even if someone can say the relationship between them and VMware is closest than other vendors (they went out with Deep Security at the launch of vsphere 4), other vendors had 2 years to develop something similar and go out.
Among them, I remember F-Secure, Kasperski, Symantec at least.
Regards,
Luca.

Hi Schnoezl,
Can you please provide more details regarding the found bugs and limitations through our SVE evaluation program or by contacting me directly? I would also like to talk to you in regards to our new version of SVE (new features, additional security features included and improved usability) in order to make sure that you will benefit from our assistance and support for a complete technical assessment.
Thank you!
Thanks for letting me know. I will certainly check out this product.
I just saw a story on BetaNews that Kapersky Labs either has (or will have soon) a product that integrates with vShield Endpoint.

Now if Symantec would only get their act together on this...
