Vshield for Intrusion Prevention Systems

We are evaluating for a solution in which we can run cisco IPS s/w in esxi 5  hypervisor layer. Intention is to provide security to all VMs running. we did not come up with a proper design. Basically we would like to know about feasiblity of  adding a software module to Hypervisor layer.

I think best solution would be  vshield endpoint. We need some presales contact (email )  whom we can discuss on this topic.

Do you have already solution for  stateful packet inspection  with your partners ?

   You have several options available, depending upon what your requirements are. If you are looking for agent-less anti-virus protection for VM's on a host, the solution would consist of VMware Endpoint (included in vSphere 5.1 and above) AND a product from one of our AV partners (Trend Micro, McAfee, Kaspersky, etc...). If you are looking for a stateful firewall to inspect VM traffic, you can now choose between vCloud Networking & Security (which is only available as part of the vCloud Suite) or NSX, which is sold stand-alone.
