thanks a lot
I know that Endpoint has to be licensed independent of your vSphere license. I don't know about Edge or App
There is a version of vShield called vShield Zones that comes with vSphere Enterprise / Enterprise Plus. This is a stripped-down version of vShield. It provides basic firewall protection. All of the rules need to be created manually.
The vShield Edge / vShield App products offer more features, like NAT/DHCP/StaticRouting and Introspection and file level protection. There is also a compliance feature with vShield App that allows you to easily create rules based on regulations, such as PCI-DSS, etc.
