Unable to filter mail using Fortimail Gateway

One of our client's email server  hosted in a cloud platform. Now they need to access mail filter facility in Fortinet and so I did theses steps as below.

  1. Allow port for mail services in Cloud Firewall.
  2. Allow port from Fortimail gateway.
  3. Check the access between customer VM and Fortimail gateway.

But can not telnet to customer location through Fortimail gateway. Any help will be appreciated.
