Trend - Deep Security

The deep security (Trend) can i use for VDI Solution?  for 500 users what hardware configuration need to be consider?

Yes you can. Deep security can be used for Xendesktop and View deployments and pretty much works in the same way as protecting none vdi virtual machines.  You deploy it in the same way, but you have to consider how it is licensed (per physical cpu or per VM - per cpu is typically more cost effective), and that's it.  You will have to throw more resources at the DSVA's (memory  / storage - if memory serves me 2Gb Ram / 20Gb HDD does around 50 vms) but this all depands on the configuration of Deep Security (the components you have licensed, depth of configuration, and logging levels).

There are features in DS9 which help free up DSVA resources (scan caching is one one of them).
