OVF Validation Fail

Hi Folks

I am trying to import a vApp in one of the public catalog but it is failing with error:

"Validation failed for the OVF file you provided: Fatal: Line/char 211/34: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'ovf:AnnotationSection'. One of '{"http://schemas.dmtf.org/ovf/envelope/1":Msg}' is expected.."

Attached is the screenshot for the same.

Can you please guide me towards resolution of this issue.

Alex,

From which public catalogue are you trying ?, Does the vApp has multiple VMs?

Is the vApp is created from vSphere ?

Can you deploy the same in vCenter ?

Please have a look at vcloud-container-debug & info.log

Please attach the OVF file here.

Also looking at the screenshot, the error is with the VM Annotation.

Hi Karthick

No this vApp is not created from vSphere. This vApp has single VM. Actually its vMA appliance which i downloaded from VMware site. For testing I was trying to upload this into catalog of my public organization.

vApp is getting deployed successfully on vCenter but I am not able to power on. It is giving some network port profile related issue.

By default, vma has a network, if there are no sufficient network pools, you will face this issue.

Please have a look at vCloud logs
