No Migration After vShield Endpoint was implemented !

I have implemented vShield Endpoint successfully,

but when I tried to megrate vm from one host to another,

It gives me this note: (currently connected network interface

uses network vmservice-vshield-pg which is a virtual intanet).

when I check the Network of two hosts involves in the configuraiton,

I found that vShield has created three virtual simple switches on both of them,

Although I'm using vDS only !,,, I don't know why vshield has created them!!

however, I need to perform vm Hot migration, what's the cause and the solution

for this issue.

Please know, I am using vSphere 5.1, vShield 5.1 (vCNS).

I have to hosts in this cluster with HA & DRS are enabled.

Please check the images for the Error Note, and the Network Configuration on Host 1 & Host 2.

This was fixed in vCenter 5.0 U2 which was released after vCenter 5.1, so there is a good chance that this bug still exists in 5.1 and will be fixed in 5.1 U1.

Thanks a lot Andreas,

I have check that atical before, but I thought as l'm using vSphere 5.1 the patch is already there, seriously,

I can't understand why they took care of v5 instead of fixing v5.1 !!

Also, from vShield point of view, when I implemented vShield endpoint 5.1 (vCNS), the vm found on the Hosts

were auotmatically connected to vShield network, which was created by the system not me!

this network is connected to vSS though I am using vDS only ! ..

Is that NORMAL & WHY vShield needs to do that?!

Also, I want to remove the vm network card form vSS and Re-connect it to the vDS where it belongs basically.

will that effect vShield in any manner, will that prevent the vShield to work or even to cause less preformance for vShield.

Thanks again Andreas.
