Guidance - vSphere 6.0 upgrade: vShield Endpoint

Hi,

We're currently testing our upgrade procedure in the lab to vSphere 6.0, for our Horizon View environment, we currently use vCNS for the agentless AV. I'm trying to look for documentation for the upgrade path for this product and i don't find anything. We tried to just hook our VSM to our vCenter 6.0 and try to install the vShield endpoint driver, but we're getting an error. Since looks like there was no new release when vSphere 6.0 was released, we assume it's not supported.

Do we have to migrate to NSX manager?

If you have any link or information to share, please let us know!

Thanks!

Hi,

Finally, looks like you need to install vShield Manager 5.5.4 which supports vSphere 6.0. We did the upgrade and were able to install the Endpoint driver. I'm just wondering what is the future of VSM.
