Error on vshield agent install

I am receiving an error when trying to install the vshield agent. It is erroring out on step 10: "Add vShield To vShield Manager Inventory". Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

The only thing I am seeing is "Error while installing VS " under Audit Logs

HI,

I have the same issue when installing vShield agent on ESX server.

The issue appears atfer creating the first portgroup_VS (vSwitch have more than one portgroup).

Any idea?

Hi,

I fix my issue.

vShield agent failed alreay at the same time when moving VM on a specific portgroup where replica from VMware View was store.

After deleted the VMware View pool and replica as deleted the installation vShield agent was OK.

In fact the replica is protect and vShield installtion could not change the Network card settings.

So, i hope that you used VMware View linked clone and that this fix could help you.
