I try to install vShield Enpoint on a ESXi 5.1 server. The vShield Manager VM was installed fine and I can logon to the web-console. The connection with vCenter is successfull. I changed the default certificate to a new self-signed certificate so the site is trusted. The vShpere tab is listed in the vSphere client. vShield App is not installed (we do not need this).
When I click on "install" at the "vShpere Endpoint 5.1.0-833297" link, a circular progress icon apears, spinning around, but nothing seems to happen. This happens both in the vSphere client and in the vShield Manager website. Any idea's where to look for clues?
Update: Well, for some reason, the next day the installation would start and finish. It took 15 minutes or so, painfully slow. Anyhow, it seems to be working now. No idea what the cause was.
