I have a two vCD 9.5 environments, one utilizing Centos based vCD Cells and one using the vCD 9.5 appliance.
On entering the above command with the correct FDQN of a cell and entering the correct user credentials (administrator equivalent) I receive the above return error message.
Google is of no help.
Which version of PowerCLI are you using? According to the VMware Product Interoperability Matrices, only PowerCLI 11.0.0 and later versions are compatible with vCloud Director 9.5
The latest, upgraded to 11 as I thought that was the issue, that said, I wonder if there are some legacy cmdlets hanging arround.
You were correct Robert, there was to 10 versions hanging around, cleared them up and the error as changed to:
An error occured while sending the request.
I can see the request reaching the server but the cell tears down the connection instantaneously.
it is as if there credentials do not have access to vCloud, but when I enter the command with incorrect credentials the response returned is
Unable to connect to vCloud Server XXXXXX:443/api . The server returned the following: Unauthorized
as expected.
Hi all,
what is the solution?
