it is not on the interoperability matrix for vCenter 6. Also not for vCenter 5.5 U2

VCHB is no more with VI 6.

You can use MSCS for Clustering Windows VC.

vCenter heartbeat has reached it's end of life and is no longer available.

If you Want to make your environment highly available you can use SRM.

Since we are running vSphere 6.0, you can consider enabling Fault Tolerance for your vCenter VM. Again, there are certain criteria that have to be satisfied for FT 6.0, if you can check all the criteria then FT is a good option.
