We have 2 vCenter Heartbeat nodes, both virtual machines, with a Single-NIC LAN configuration. We are experiencing problems with the channel connection, so we consider that the best approach would be adding a second NIC to each node, and leave that NIC dedicated to the Channel connection, in a different VLAN.
However, we would like to know if this change requires a reinstallation of vCenter heartbeat, or if it's just a matter of running the Configure Server wizard once the NIC has been added to re-establish the channel connection using the new NIC.
