WHen i get to the part to install update manager it goes through for awhile then it asks Please insert the disk: 1 ?
This is my test VC which is a vm that has the update 2 iso attached ?
This is a known issue that we're looking into right now specific to ISO/CD-Rom upgrades.
As a workaround, you can download the VC 2.5 zip installer to get around this issue.

I got this issue too. It seems that everytime I need to install a new build I end up on a wild goose chase in the knowledge base and communities fixing problems that could be identified by simple testing before release.. Starting to get Microsoft-y.
Had the very same issue installing from ISO. However, I did copy down only the Update Manager install files and completed successfully.
