While installing the VMware vSphere Client 5.0, the installer fails to register the vmwareRemoteConsole.dll. If you ignore the error and proceed with the install the following error is displayed when launching the vm console which is understandable which is due to the the dll not registering. I found the following article VMware KB: Cannot access remote consoles for virtual machines when vSphere 4.1 client loads and applied the registry keys however i am still having the same problem. I also exported the keys from a working machine with vSphere Client 5.0 with no luck. Any other ideas?
