We have VCenter Server 4.1.0 (345043) and we recently updated 2 hoststo 4.1 update 1
One of the hosts we 'upgraded' using the zip package. This upgrade was from version 4.0 straight to 4.1 update 1
The other host was 'patched' from 4.1 to 4.1 Update 1.
On the host that was upgraded from 4.0 to 4.1 update 1 vmtools package appear to be broken, there is no update in update manger that we can push out to the clients.
On the host that was 'patched' vmtools appear to be working.
Is there way to correct the issue? so that the new tools are available on both hosts regardless of the upgrade method used?
