vcsa 5.5 to 6 upgrade / install trouble

I'm trying to upgrade VCSA 5.5 to VCSA 6.0 however once I specify the Target in Step 2 it says validating and then returns with the yellow error bar but no error message.

This happens when I choose both the Install or the Upgrade options.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I tried running the install from another PC (a server) and it worked. Not sure what the issue was with running from my desktop.
