It is a new install for the test environment, SQL server port is set to 1433.  It was started, then I rebooted and it wont start up.

Hi,

Are you running anything else on the vCenter server that could be using the vCenter service ports?

Any firewalls blocking ports?

Are you running the latest esxi and vCenter (eg: 5.1.0u1 or?) ...

Anything else in the Windows Event logs that could help?

[edit] also found this:

Might be interesting.
