vcenter server join to domain after installation

I have a windows 2003 server with sql 2005 in WORKGROUP, over this server i have installed virtual center 2.5 now i want migrate to vcenter 4, but before i need to join to domain.

It'is possible execute the join to domain of this server without problem ?

Yes there should be no problem in joing your Windows 2003 machine to the domain - this will not impact you VC server -

no, this should not be a problem. Are you ESX(i) Hosts pointing to a hostname or IP for their license source?
