I nearly ran out of space on the D drive where the Inventory Service database is located. Add more space and things seemed to settle down. This occurred as I was rescanning esxi hosts to remove datastores form vcenter after detaching and unmapping them.
That seems to have settled down, Then I noticed Search was not working in vcenter. I tied restarting the Mangement Webservices. That restarted but there was no change. Then I tried to restart the INventory Service and it will not start, it is stuck in "Starting"
This is on vcenter 5.1
Can someone direct me to document or provide instructions for fixing this ?
