I enabled SNMP in vcenter, tried to either set it to localhost or to my Linux machine, and no matter what I do, snmpwalk gives timeout.
I installed net-snmp on the windows server and tried to do snmpwalk -v 2c -c public locahost - and still timeout and nothing else.
While we're on the subject of SNMP, if I'm using ESXi, do I need to install anything to each guest in order to see the bandwidth and network status each machine uses?
