vSphere ESX Agent Manager: offline depot can not be uploaded in vSphere Lifecyle manager

I am carrying out certification testing for the filter package. While running tests, agent tries to install the filter package and also remediate the cluster. It then fails saying the health of vcenter can not be queried. In the logs: it shows the following error message:

Agency 96852b69-302b-4576-a7c5-5d6d37ebd96b is unable to determine required solutions from its configured offline depots.

While looking into vcenter -> Administration -> vCenter Server Extensions -> vSphere ESX Agent Manager ->

Configure Tab shows the following error:

Offline depot http://url/to/iofilter/zip/package/VMW-some-name-version.zip hosted as https://vcenter-url:443/eam/vib?id=a-guid cannot be uploaded in vSphere Lifecycle Manager.

While In the Monitor Tab, Following error is visible:

Software defined by agency IoFilter-STA_bootbank_privatename cannot be uploaded in vSphere Lifecycle Manager

I have the same issue while trying to update from 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 😞

Can anyone give a hint how to resolve it?

Just shared this thread w/Engr and they would need to get the vc-support bundle. The best course for any issues observed is to file a support request, this way GSS can help in case they've seen this before or pull in Engr.
