Here's the Home page vCenter selector for 2.19:

Unless you click on it, nothing to tell there's a choice!

Is there a way to test the HTML 5 client on an existing 6.0 setup or as its a web client, is the only way to run it is to upgrade vCenter to 6.5?

Thx

Hello Viewaskew
You can download the HTML5 Fling appliance for vSphere 6.0 here:

After migrating from Windows Vcenter 5.5 to Vcenter appliance 6.5 U1, nothing is displayed in the HTML 5 client.

Under Home, the message comes:

Configuration error

Please correct configuration error.

Could you file a Service Request for this issue? We need to look at the logs to triage what is happening.

cbrewer how did you run ESXi 6.0 on DL380 G6? That's not supposed to work? Does it really work with no issues, no missing drivers, etc bare metal crap?

I've holding off older 380 G6s sitting around and not using them exactly because the compatibly tool said no 6 and I didn't want to go to 5.5?

It's not a supported setup (and I may have had to inject some network drivers - I can't remember), but this is all lab equipment so support isn't really that big of a deal. Our production gear is on the HCL.

I highly doubt that I'm going to be able to get 6.5 running on these servers - who knows, though?

Thanks cbrewer, if it works then that's all I care about since the G6 will also be a lab setup. I am glad I saw your post. I was going to trash them at some point but running 6.0 opens the door for a whole another life for these work horses. Thanks!
