vSphere 5 Web Client doesn't start

Hi everyone,

Trying to install the new vSphere 5 Web Client....After installation, the service doesn't start. Force the service to start...stays up for 1 or 2 minutes and stops again.

Looking at the log files, only big thing I see is this error

UR0002E User region failed while deploying initial artifacts. Shutting Down.

Web Client has been installed on the vCenter server running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1.

Can you help out??

Thanks

OK, I was able to find an 'easier' route to fix on another thread:

I have the exact same problem. Did you find any resolution to the issue?

Thanks!

I was able to make it work...after alot of trial and error...

I had to uninstall everything except vCenter...and reboot. At startup, confirmed that vCenter was working. Made sure the license key was added...went to services and stop vCenter Service and shutdown the system. Cold Booted the VM and started installing WebClient....and started working.

It has been running solid since... Kinda scary to be honest...
