Recently upgraded to VCenter Server 4.1 (from 4.0) on Server 2008R2-Ent and now the client (also upgraded and running on same box) is a now continuously booting me out every 10-15 minutes with this error message:
The session with __________server has been stopped by an administrator. vSphere Client will be closed.
Any ideas? This is driving me nuts? Are there too many sessions open? Too many admins or logins?
this only happens on the vCenter Host OS? Can you install and successfully maintain a connection into your environment from another system? Have you checked event viewer for any logs?
I've tried using the VSphere client from both the VCenter server and from other systems -- both seem to have the session forced closed between 10-15 minutes. Looked at the event viewer on the server and client(s) and don't see anything all that exciting or apparent -- any ideas what to look for? Is there a limit on the number of sessions open?
