vMotion failed between cluster

I am not able to migrate vms between diffrent clusters. It is working when i select change " host and datastore"

I am not sure , why it is not working when i select migrate to "host"  while storage is shared between cluster.

Above are the results of cold migration

Could be the underlying problem is within your virtual network (port group or etc) and not the storage. Other connected virtual devices could be another reason as well.

can you make sure there is no Snap shot associate with that VM, you are try to vMotion?

I am able to migrate virtual machines by selecting "move to another host"within cluster but not between clusters.

both source and target are esx 4.1.

no device connected while vmotion / no snapshot... I am migrating after powering off vms... by choosing migrate  "host and datastore " option , I am able to migrate ... but I want to do it by choosing migrate between "host "  as I am only moving vms between host...

I understand, cold migration does not use vmotion network to migrate but use service console.
