vMA update problem

Hello vmware community..

My name is Vadim and my problem is:

Trying to update vMa vmware tools and doing: Right click on VM(my case is vMA) Guest->Install/Update vmware tool and get error "Error updating vmwaretools" from vClient.

How can I change this situation.I want to get my vmware tools current OK status, presently is: Running 3rd party independend Maybe there is some way to update vmware tool directli from vMA Suse Linux Enterprise GestOS. And please if you know to install/update vmware tools it's use internet of the computer where install vClient or directly the gestOS internet, cuz I thount maybe problem with internet in my vMA GuestOS.

Like most virtual appliances, the VMware Tools included with the vMA are not based of the standard Linux VMware Tools packages but on the Open Virtual Machine Tools. That's why they are and will always be listed as "3rd party independent" and you can't upgrade them the usual way. Not a very pretty solution, I dislike that too.

Just asking for in case, do you try to adjust a IPPON UPS for vMA.
