Interesting dilemma here guys:
I have vCenter as a VM on a one cluster and vDS.
I have the SQL Server, which houses the vCenter DB, lives on another cluster and a different vDS.
I basically need to move the SQL Server VM to the same cluster as the vCenter server.
Methods to consider are:
1) Use Converter outside of vCenter and make sure vCenter services are off.
2) Clone the SQL Server
3) Setup a new SQL server and move the DB and re-point the ODBC.
Any other suggestions? I've got change control to worry about so can't really muck with the vDS configs!
